About us

The management of Kronenberg-Yachting GmbH is in the hands of Arno Kronenberg, who, in addition to solid business knowledge, also has broad marketing experience in the water sports sector. Furthermore, he is an experienced ocean sailor with around 100,000 nautical miles on his log: In 1987 he sailed the ADMIRAL'S CUP and in 1989 he gained WHITBREAD experience on the German "Schlüssel von Bremen". In total, he has crossed the Atlantic seven times and in 1997 was awarded the Tanja Cup for his victory with the "Bank of Bremen" in the stormy Durban-Cape Town winter leg of the HONG KONG CHALLENGE-ROUND THE WORLD RACE. In January 1999 he made a name for himself in all German-speaking media, after he sailed safely through the storm of the century in the catastrophic SYDNEY-HOBART race - on one of the smallest boats of the whole field - and finished second in his class despite capsizing. This experience served him well in the summer of 2003 during the DAIMLERCHRYSLER-NORTH-ATLANTIK-CHALLENGE, the anniversary regatta from Newport (USA) to Hamburg, where he skippered a 61-foot racer-cruiser and was the first German boat to round Fair Isle in the north of Scotland despite a storm of gale force winds.

Apart from his function as manager of the German single-handed sailor Boris Herrmann, Arno has largely retired from racing and has been enjoying conventional cruising with his family since a few years!

Max Meesen began sailing dinghies as a child. As a teenager, he deepened his love of wind, water and sails while windsurfing. So it was only logical that he studied naval architecture at the Technical University in Vienna, from where he "threw himself" fully into practice after graduation: Yacht deliveries, the assembly of electronics and the finishing of yachts soon made him a highly sought-after specialist in the industry.

After various stations in Greece, the USA and Italy, he settled in the south of France more than 20 years ago, where he looked after yacht dealers and customers alike in complex technical areas. As his knowledge was more and more in demand also in sales, finally the jump to yacht sales followed.

Due to his technical know-how, his sailing expertise and his experience in the yacht trade, he has been advising customers for years and is responsible for AMEL sales in Austria at Kronenberg-Yachting!

After studying business administration, Heiner Neubaur held various positions in the sports and textile industries before finally finding his "home" in the sailing industry.

As an independent dealer and sales representative of well-known shipyards, he has gained considerable experience in this field. For more than 25 years, he has also worked as a training skipper for the DSV, for which he is also an examiner.

All in all Heiner has been sailing for 40 years and in the meantime has more than 200,000 nautical miles on his personal log! He has collected these worldwide on numerous passage trips and Atlantic crossings - many of them on AMEL yachts!

Since 2021 he supports the team of Kronenberg Yachting GmbH in sales and transfers, where our customers especially appreciate his friendly manner and his extensive technical knowledge!
